I was discussing online with some friends the differences between pencils/brands and my two favorites (and I think the best pencils to draw with) Polychromos being the workhorse of them all and Luminance being the Rolls Royce of pencils… On Aug 8, 2021 someone sent me a surprise! I received in the mail a 20 set of Caran D’Ache Luminance color pencils, no note, no address, no nothing…just the set of pencils! Still to this day (wow, to years to the day as I write this!), have no idea who sent them, I chalk it up to the Universe telling me, “You are doing what you’re suppose to be doing, and you’re not putting these down again!!!
